***PLEASE NOTE: We Are Only Launching S&P SmallCap 600 Index Futures on Monday, November 11, 2002. We had erroneously stated Future and Options in New Contract Notice NP#0213 Issued on October 22, 2002. Please disregard New Contract Notice NP#0213.

The Standard & Poor�s SmallCap 600 Stock Price Index is a capitalization-weighted index representing some $375 billion in value as of July 31, 2002. Index weights are proportionate to the current stock price multiplied by the number of shares outstanding. The Index comprises some six hundred domestic equity components selected by S&P on the basis of their capitalization, liquidity and industrial sector representation.

Please view the attached REVISED New Contract Notice NP#0216. This notice replaces New Contract Notice NP#0213.
